State knowledge exam

Driver's knowledge testing is the written test for your driver's license. You must score 80% or higher to pass this test.

  • No appointment necessary.

    Monday-Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm.

  • Please bring a valid photo ID

    *If you have a Washington non-photo ID/permit you must also bring a valid photo ID such as a school ID

    **If you are under 18, you must bring a parent with you and valid identification (see "Identification Requirements brochure").

  • YOU MUST have a state ID number assigned to you
